do you mean a message from yahoo messenger to your phone? any message sent to your phone counts as a text message.. you will be charged 15 cents per message on your bill if you do not have a text messaging package with Verizon. yea it does i used to send IM%26#39;s on my phone.and they are basically just the same price as text messaging. usually its bytes it probably has a per message fee check the verizon site and or check my account yes. it will come as text message. also air time (while you were connect it to yahoo) will count towards your anytime minutes. with their new select plan, message will be free but airtime still applies. with premium plan, message and airtime is free.
select plan cost $20 more for single plan and $30 more for family plan.
premium plan cost $40 more for single plan and cost $70 more for family plan.
