Distance doesn%26#39;t matter, because with signal and satellite towers instead of wiring all over the country, it doesn%26#39;t cost any more to call domestically 2000 miles away than it does for 1 mile away. So, technically, if you use a cell phone to call somewhere during the "free" periods, that%26#39;s what free long distance refers to. Getting calls are free.. You can make collect calls? ;P Through computer you can call any country for free through Skype
