Does *3370# work?

i learned this in a survival class and they said if my cell phone died i could press *3370# and it would boost my battery power to +30 percent... is this true???? so im wondering if this really works and how

I think it%26#39;s a myth. I got this in an e-mail one time "Hidden Battery Power Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next time."

I know my phone, if it dies and there is an emergency, i can turn it on and dial 911 and it won%26#39;t die. As long as i was on the phone with 911, it changed into a different mode, which i didn%26#39;t know. I had a long day and my phone died died and my car got hit by a deer. I was like crap, i have no charge but i was able to turn it on and dial 911, that%26#39;s when i could look at my phone and it actually said emergency mode :) I don%26#39;t know if all phone do it but mine is 2 years old and it does it so most likely if you have no charge, turn it off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on. It should stay on long enough for you to call 911 and switch into that mode. Hope this helps. i dont think so..
