Do i need to do anything to deactivate my Virgin Mobile phone?

I just signed a contract with verizon because i was sick of dealing w/ virgin mobiles bullsh*t. I%26#39;m done with my phone and to recharge my minutes I am supposed to top up (add money to account) in a few days. Should I just leave the account balance too low for this to go through? Will anything happen if I just stop using the phone. or is that what i%26#39;m supposed to do? i don%26#39;t want to waste any more of my time on them if I don%26#39;t have to... I e-mailed them %26 asked if I need to do anything and they said call to be sure... I%26#39;m pretty sure they said that because they want to try to convince me to stay... and i also don%26#39;t want to waste my minutes with them.

Answers:

if you dont add any money to the phone for 90 days then it will deactivate itself. =) If you do not have a credit card on file, just don%26#39;t do anything. Your account will shut off than eventually terminate. :-) just don%26#39;t top-up and when the deadline passes, your service with them will be terminated, no questions asked.
